As a people leader I have often taken my teams through “what ifs” scenarios, by creating excel models of the systems we were operating in. I have observed that walking the “what ifs” was often a very energising exercise that sparked many ideas and surfaced concerns to be addressed.
Repeating this exercise through various iterations, I observed something interesting.
Whenever I needed to mobilise an organisation, I used data to win people’s minds with logic and business sense.
But that was often not enough.
People are also moved by emotions and by their own motivation. In other words, to mobilise an organisation I also needed to connect with people’s emotions.
Hence I have perfected my method of system models building and combined it with storytelling and business dilemmas resolution.
In the ever changing world of today, we are constantly evolving and our targets keep moving further away

Hi, my name is Francesco Mancuso, founder of Billica and designer of SystemThinkers Lab.
I have over a decade of senior leadership experience in Strategy and Customer Support operations, with experience in both the healthcare medical equipment and energy industry services.
Throughout my career I focused on optimising customer interactions and business outcomes through problem solving, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, leading cross-functional business transformations, such as Digital Transformation of Customer Support.
