Lead Change: Change Management Business Simulation
Background story
LabTech, a powerhouse in the Medical Equipment industry, just acquired the smaller but dynamic DNA-X to supercharge their portfolio and maximize value for customers and shareholders.
In streamlining operations, some tough decisions were made, leading to strategic layoffs.
Today’s challenge zeroes in on our newly integrated Service Department, grappling with performance hurdles post Go Live, even a month in.
Your mission: step into the shoes of LabTech’s Service Leader, drive the seamless merger of service departments, and be the hero who turns the tide!
Problem statement
How might we lead our organisational transformation so that we can get back to business as usual as quick as possible, where we guarantee the best mean time to resolution, the most effective use of resources while keeping people motivated and engaged?
Learning objectives
In a confidential and safe environment, participants in the business simulation will learn:
- How to identify challenges at all levels of the organisation
- How to identify leverage points
- What unintended consequences they may encounter when introducing change or strategies
- How to handle communication in complex situations with many changes being implemented
- The most important elements to consider when planning for and implementing a merger or acquisition.
They will leave the simulation with a specific plan on how to approach, plan and manage their own merger with another company or department
